about this site
This site is a place for residents of the valley to tell entertaining stories of memories that have meaning to the storyteller. It's not meant to be museum-style historical documentation, but rather, think "Andy of Mayberry" or "Reader's Digest" ... wholesome "real life" stories that are unique and memorable to you. The site is purposefully DESIGNED to be simple to use and LOCAL to the valley. Stories can be, humorous, thoughtful, dramatic ... doesn't matter. If you live in this valley, tell us a short story (or many of them if you have them). The goal is to present a community story that builds an image of the current personality of this valley we call home. The story doesn't have to be "of the valley". As long as you live here, you are a part of this valley's unique personality ... and any (or many) of your entertaining stories are welcome here :)
NOTE: The stories on this site are curated (not all can or will be published). Also, some may be edited for various reasons, (mostly to maintain a level of anonymity). Every effort will be made, however, to publish the stories exactly as we receive them.
Happy Storytelling!!!
